Job Description:
As a Software Application Engineer specializing in Protection Technology, you will be responsible for developing and implementing software solutions for our protection devices used in energy generation and distribution. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, test, and optimize software applications that ensure the reliability and efficiency of our products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain software applications for protection devices in the energy sector.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate software and hardware components effectively.
- Conduct testing and validation of software to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for software-related issues.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of software development processes.
Qualifications:
- Completed studies in energy technology, electrical engineering, or a comparable field, ideally with a focus on protection technology.
- Several years of professional experience in software development, preferably in the field of protection technology.
- Proficiency in programming languages relevant to embedded systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills in German; English language skills are an advantage.
