Reliable
protection for
power supply systems

The HighPROTEC product range from SEG Electronics GmbH is an outstanding solution for reliable protection in the areas of power generation and power distribution.

The user-friendly protection devices are optimized for cost efficiency. User-friendly protection devices and the Smart view programming and evaluation software Smart view are the guarantee for minimized commissioning and training costs.

The “all-inclusive concept” of the products includes the complete protection functionality, the parameterization and evaluation software as well as the fault record analysis software, all without surcharges or hidden costs.

Customer-oriented,
certified technology

In developing the HighPROTEC product range we have taken the latest standards and the suggestions and the suggestions of our customers in order to develop protection devices that are characterized by maximum availability, precision, flexibility and easy handling.

For example, all protective functions meet the requirements of requirements of VDE-AR-N-4110/4120:2018. The HighPROTEC product line is the result of 50 years experience in the field of protective device development.

All inclusive -
at an attractive price

The devices are supplied as standard with a complete protection package for the relevant applications at no extra charge. Applications at no extra charge. For example, the outgoing MRA4 feeder protection device offers functions such as automatic reclosing, vector jump monitoring, df/dt (ROCOF) with 6 protection levels for frequency monitoring and system protection functions such as automatic frequency relief.

Great features

  • All phase current and earth current inputs are designed for 1 A and 5 A.
  • All terminals are pluggable and the current terminals are equipped with automatic short-circuiters.
  • The voltage inputs are designed for up to 800 V *5, so that many low-voltage applications can be connected directly, i.e. without converters, can be connected.
  • The switching thresholds of the digital inputs can be easily set via software.
  • The wide-range power supply unit covers all standard AC and DC auxiliary voltages.
  • The non-volatile fault recorder records up to 120 seconds with 32 samples per cycle.
  • With the page editor you can easily create display control diagrams (single-line diagrams) with measured values for display on the on the device display.
  • Comprehensive IT security (cyber security)
