Configuration
The relay BN1‑400 of the BASIC LINE is an universal mains decoupling device to monitor the phase-to-neutral voltages and contains the functions required of VDEW and most other utilities for the mains parallel operation of power stations.
Settings
Parameter | Setting Range |
---|---|
Rated voltage Un | 400 V AC |
Phase sequence supervision | Wrong phase sequence trips relay, and is indicated by flashing LED. |
Undervoltage supervision U< | 75 … 100% Un (hysteresis 3%) |
Overvoltage supervision U> | 100 … 125% Un (hysteresis 3%) |
Underfrequency supervision f< | 90 … 100% fn (hysteresis 0.25% fn) |
Overfrequency supervision f> | 100 … 110% fn (hysteresis 0.25% fn) |
Vector surge tripping ΔΘ | 1 … 20° |
Blocking time to prevent wrong vector surge trippings | 0.1 … 10 s |
Self-powered – No aux. Voltage needed
Easy DIN rail mounting
Sealable plastic covers
Very easy settings via buttons at the front
Fault indication via LED and output relays
Operational from −25°C to 70°C
Voltage supervision (highest / lowest of three phases, 3% hysteresis)
Frequency supervision (for all three phases, 3% hysteresis)
Vector surge supervison (70 ms, 1° … 20°)
AC and DC Voltage based supervision devices.
The Basic Line devices are self-powered – Measuring voltage also supplies the device.
The Basic Line scope covers voltage and frequency limits as well as ROCOF and vector surge.
