- XE2 – ANSI 64REF
The relay XE2 of the easy PROFESSIONAL LINE is used for supervision of the exciter current. By the exciter current element the direct current of the excitation machine in brushless machines is supervised. The protection function includes detection of overcurrent and undercurrent as well as supervision of the ripple component of the exciter current and so faults of the rotating diodes would be revealed.
